Not just a team but a big family.
Our journey is as dynamic as this newly legalized industry. We recognized the therapeutic potential of psychedelic mushrooms long before Proposition 122 and became strong advocates for their role in treating mental health disorders. As public opinion and legislation shifted, we were called to support this statewide movement, illuminating the path for natural, alternative therapies.
As neuroscientist and Stanford University School of Medicine associate professor Andrew Huberman so aptly put it, “This sh*t works!”
Before long, we found ourselves collaborating with the Colorado Natural Medicine Board as a Mycological Expert Advisor (non-voting participant) to the Products, Research, and Data subcommittee. Over nine months, we contributed to drafting key recommendations that ensure the development of a safe, credible, and practical marketplace.
Now, we are diligently working toward becoming the first licensed cultivator in Colorado. Funding and designing new studies to deepen our understanding is one of our top priorities. We are not merely participating in this newly legal industry—we are helping to shape and cultivate it, all while striving to bring credibility to the field of psychedelic medicine.
Our mission is simple: to expand access to psychedelic medicine for ALL who can benefit.
This mission extends far beyond cultivation. It encompasses public education to raise awareness of these treatment options, advancing the credibility of these therapies through research and data, and providing treatment to those most in need—who may not be able to afford it—through charitable grants and nonprofit initiatives.
Mycosef’s potential is as limitless as psychedelic medicine itself. As the knowledge, practice, legalization and decriminalization, and product trends expand, so do we.
We are striving to be at the forefront of creating effective, and safe products that people enjoy. Advocating other states and the federal governments acknowledge the effectiveness of psychedelic medicine in supporting mental health is paramount to realizing our potential as well.
